Our Safety Guarantee
Every board we sell is certified, tested before dispatch, and backed by a real team in Auckland. That's how we've kept Kiwis riding since 2015.
Certified to NZ standards
Cheap imports gave hoverboards a bad name years ago. Every board in our range complies with New Zealand safety standards and ships with a plain-English safety manual covering charging, storage and riding.
Batteries we'd put in our own kids' boards
The battery is where safety is won or lost. We use quality lithium-ion packs from reputable manufacturers and test every board before it leaves our Auckland warehouse. We pay more per cell so you never have to think about it.
12 month warranty
Every hoverboard is covered for 12 months on the main operating board (motherboard) and 6 months on the rest of the body, on top of your Consumer Guarantees Act rights. Claims are handled here in NZ, not overseas.
What the warranty covers
- Motherboard and gyro faults — 12 months
- Motors, charging port and wiring faults — 12 months
- Body, shell and cosmetic components — 6 months
- Genuine chargers supplied with the board
- Repair or replacement from our Auckland workshop
What it doesn't cover
- Water damage or riding in heavy rain
- Crash and impact damage
- Damage from non-genuine chargers
- Opening or modifying the board yourself
- Normal wear on tyres and footpads
Why we're obsessive about batteries
Nearly every hoverboard fire you've read about traces back to one thing: substandard batteries and chargers in bargain imports.
That's the corner we refuse to cut. It makes our boards cost a little more than a marketplace special, and we're completely fine with that.
- Quality lithium-ion cells from reputable manufacturers
- Every board charged and tested before dispatch
- Matched, certified charger in every box
- Genuine replacement batteries & chargers in stock in NZ

Ride safe checklist
- Wear a helmet — knee and elbow pads for new riders
- Check the rider weight and age guide for your model
- Charge on a hard surface, never overnight or unattended
- Only use the charger that came with your board
- Keep the board away from water and puddles
- Learn on flat, smooth ground before footpaths or grass
