Why we started
Back in 2015, hoverboards exploded in popularity worldwide, and so did the horror stories. Cheap imports with substandard batteries were catching fire, and every one of those headlines was a kid's ruined Christmas.
We started Hoverboards NZ to do it properly: hoverboards that pass standard safety tests and are certified as safe, quality batteries, every unit checked before dispatch, and a local team that answers when something goes wrong. A decade on, that's still the whole business plan.
