  3 Year Hoverboard Care Plan Covers: any hoverboard bought from Hoverboards NZ, in the same order or within 30 days of purchase Every hoverboard we sell comes with a 12 month warranty. The Care Plan extends that to 3 years from the date of purchase, so if the battery stops holding charge in year two, or a motor or sensor fails in year three, our Auckland workshop repairs or replaces it and you are not paying for parts or labour. 3 years, not 1Cover runs for 36 months from the day your hoverboard is delivered. Two extra years on top of the standard warranty. Battery and charger includedThe parts most likely to wear are covered: battery, charger, motors, motherboard, gyro sensors and LED lights. Repaired in AucklandSend the board to our workshop or drop it in. We repair or replace at our cost and courier it back to you. One charge for the courierDuring years two and three you cover the courier to us. We cover the repair, the parts and the courier back. What is covered Battery that no longer holds a usable charge Charger failure Motor, motherboard, gyro sensor and wiring faults LED lights and Bluetooth speaker Charging port and power switch What is not covered Accidental damage, drops, crashes, water damage or damage from riding through puddles Cosmetic wear: scratches, scuffs, cracked shells Tyres, footpads and other wear items Damage caused by a non-approved charger, or by repairs or modifications not done by us Loss or theft How it works Add the Care Plan to your cart with your hoverboard, or buy it on its own within 30 days of your hoverboard order. We link it to your order number. Nothing to register, nothing to print. If something goes wrong, email or call us with your order number. We will run through a quick check first, since many issues are fixed with a recalibration. If it needs the workshop, send it in. We repair or replace and courier it back.
