Troubleshooting
Here are a few troubleshooting tips that seem to be the most commonly used:
Hearing lots of vibrations when you’re riding the hoverboard, Why it’s probably happening, and What you should do:
In ideal conditions, you should not hear or feel any kind of vibration from your hoverboard. If you do, it means that there’s the improper distribution of pressure along the footpad of the hoverboard, which isn’t letting the board self-balance itself. Another thing you need to keep in mind is that the minimum weight requirement for riding the hoverboard is 25 kgs. If you hear the vibration, switch off the hoverboard and get off of it. Get back on, with your feet placed in the indicated position. Bend your knees a little so as to distribute the pressure evenly among all pressure pads. This should solve your problem.
Is your hoverboard being charged properly?
Charging the hoverboard is pretty straightforward. It’s actually as simple as charging your mobile phone. Plug in the charger into a wall power socket. Plug in the other end in the charging port on the hoverboard. When you plugin the charger into the wall socket, a light comes up. This means that the hoverboard is being charged. This is also indicated by a red colored light on the battery of the hoverboard. When fully charged, the red colored light turns to green.
To ensure longevity of your batteries, do not charge them for more than a couple of hours at a time. Also, li-ion batteries perform best when charged up to 80-90% of their capacity. If you keep charging the batteries for hours on end, you’re going to end up with a swollen battery that is not covered under warranty. Thus, ensure that you charge your device properly.
Your hoverboard goes crazy and starts making beeping sounds, and flashing red lights. What should you do?
There are two reasons your hoverboard could be beeping and flashing red lights. One, you fell off the hoverboard, or there was an unexpected dismounting. This causes the sensors on the hoverboard to be disturbed. This is what causes the continuous beeping and flashing of lights. All you need to do to solve this problem is hit the reset button on the hoverboard. This will stop the noises and lights.
Continuous beeping sounds from the hoverboard could indicate that you were going too fast:
Our hoverboards are designed with consumer safety in mind. We have a speed alarm in place that beeps when you go at speeds higher than 10 km/h. If you’re riding the hoverboard, pushing the boundaries of speed, and you hear beeping sounds, all you need to do is slow down a bit till the beeping stops, and then continue going at that speed.
Why isn’t your hoverboard switching ON?
The only reason a hoverboard won’t switch ON is if the battery level is too low. Check the light on the battery. If the battery is too low, charge it up for a couple of hours. Try switching on the hoverboard now. If it beeps, it means that it’s switched on. If it doesn’t, you should probably try contacting us through our Contact Us page.
